There’s something in the water in Belleville.
Our friendly neighbours to the east seems to have a rather large LGBTQ2 population. Why, just last year we were contacted by one of the Belleville branch managers from RBC who wanted to purchase Reelout Film Festival tickets for her staff to take clients and the SAYOutLoud queer youth group in Belleville came down en masse (over 20 youth) to come see our youth shorts and enjoy hot cider and hot chocolate at Sir. John’s Public House afterward.
So it only seems fitting that the Reelout Arts Project Inc. in partnership with the Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre offer Belleville’s community serving agencies and LGBTQ2 youth the access to our DVD Resource Library.
Starting in August …Wednesdays from 1:30-3:30pm, the Centre is offering a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQI2 youth and their friends/allies (ages 14+) to stop by and hang out. Here they can get support; meet new people; access resources and information; play activities and games; have access to FREE shower and laundry facilities; and access to Reelout DVDs for loan!
