Lunch Time Poll with Alannah Wrenshall

Reelout & Blue Canoe Productions are proud to be co-producing Heathers The Musical, (book, music & lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Kevin Murphy) at The Baby Grand Theatre in Kingston, ON Canada.  The show runs Tuesday May 3-Sunday May 8, 2016.

Name: Alannah Wrenshall    Age: 21   Role: Martha Dunnstock

Where You’ve Seen Her Before: With The Caledonia’s, Queen’s all female a capella team, or in The Nightmare Before Christmas with Blue Canoe Productions.

Who’s Your Favorite HEATHERS THE MUSICAL character and why? J.D., because everyone needs a little insanity to keep things interesting.

You win 1 million dollars the same day aliens land on earth and say they’re going to blow it up.  What are you going to do with the money?  I mean, how much can 1 million dollars really get you nowadays? I would probably try to buy a rocket ship so I can take all my love ones with me and keep flying…you can get a rocket ship for 1 million dollars right?

For the sake of this poll let’s just say “Sure”.  Now, if you were stranded on a deserted island with only one Heather who would it be and why? Heather McNamara because I feel like she’s the least likely to kill me instead of sharing the food…(Editor’s Note subsequent joke redacted due to Jenni Saslove (Veronica) calling DIBS.  Great minds think alike ladies.  You’ll be naturals at playing BFFs).

What movie title best describes your character’s personality?

My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic!

Heathers the Musical is part of The Juvenis Festival, a week-long celebration of youth and the arts in Kingston funded in part through the generosity of the City of Kingston Arts Fund. #juvy2016  Check out their website at
